Abilitations Children’s Therapy is a therapist-owned multi-disciplinary clinic serving individuals from birth to 21 years old in the Greater Triangle Area. Our founders, T.R. Goins, and Jennifer Mock, opened the doors of Abilitations in August of 2008 with the intention of creating a supportive and nurturing clinic where individuals with diverse needs could thrive.
The founders of Abilitations value utilizing evidence-based research in their clinical practice. Our therapists are highly trained in complex pediatric diagnoses and offer a wide variety of services to help your child meet their goals. The team receives ongoing training to utilize current evidence-based research to achieve outcomes. We encourage a collaborative approach between team members, utilizing their unique expertise to develop the best plan of care for their patients. Treatment is focused on individualizing each child’s needs while promoting a safe, fun, and compassionate environment.
At Abilitations, we firmly believe that our patients inspire our growth as clinicians and individuals, and we welcome everyone regardless of their background or needs.
Our goal is to help your child achieve their greatest potential.
We are also committed to providing more fun and active community programs for this underserved group. Abilitations developed and sponsored programs, including Abilities Indoor Soccer, Girls on The Run, Musical Productions, and Cool Kidz Club. We were also a founder and partner in developing the Sassafras All Children’s Playground in Raleigh, providing a community-based park for individuals of all abilities.
