Danielle received a BS in occupational therapy from the University of New England in Maine in 1996. She has served clients with various diagnoses and needs in a clinic, school, home, community, inpatient, and residential settings in Arizona and North Carolina. Her experience includes many years of co-owning and operating a pediatric therapy clinic in Tucson, Arizona.
Danielle has received training and mentoring in sensory integration theory, evaluation and intervention from leading therapists in the field. She is a SIPT certified therapist. Danielle draws from many therapeutic tools to treat children. She has completed courses in the SOS Approach to Feeding, Therapeutic Listening, Social Thinking, Handwriting Without Tears, DIR Floortime, and other approaches. She has training in CranioSacral Therapy, pediatric massage and other bodywork modalities. Danielle is also trained in yoga for children with special needs.
Danielle takes a relationship-based approach to treating children. She believes in recognizing the strengths of each child and strives to be a positive support to families. She has a passion for learning and applying holistic approaches to enhancing the overall wellbeing of the child and family.
