Doctor of Physical Therapy

Jennifer completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at East Carolina University in 2013. During her graduate education, she was involved in multiple research studies examining the relationship between pediatric obesity and its effects on balance, gait mechanics, and other movement patterns. Jennifer has experience in various pediatric settings, including hospital-based and private outpatient clinics as well as aquatics. She has worked with children from birth to 21 years old with diagnoses that include Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Torticollis, Plagiocephaly, Muscular Dystrophy, Hydrocephalus, Prader Willi Syndrome, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorders, and various other orthopedic diagnoses as well as developmental delays. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys exploring Raleigh, baking, going to sporting events and spending time with friends and family.
