Leah Kay
Leah received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from High Point University. She has experience working with highly medically complex children within multiple settings, including the outpatient clinic and home health. Leah has worked closely with children with cerebral palsy, rare genetic and metabolic disorders, muscular dystrophies, Down syndrome, spina bifida, Autism, and developmental delay. Her love for children and watching them succeed drives her passion for the pediatric setting. Leah wants her patients to know that she sees them as a person first, diagnoses second and that they are more than their disabilities. She is excited to be a part of the Abilitations team and to work with their many amazing families.
In her free time, Leah loves doing hot yoga classes, riding the peloton, and circuit training. She enjoys spending time with her family and hiking with her 11-year-old pitbull.
