
Lindsey Moore

Lindsey graduated from Lenoir Rhyne College with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2006 in Human Occupational Studies as well as a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in May 2007. Upon graduation, Lindsey began her career in Wilmington at an outpatient pediatric clinic and worked there for 5 years. She then moved to the Wake Forest area and worked in early intervention from August 2012-2013. She joined Abilitations in April 2013 and has enjoyed working in a facility that offers all disciplines for truly well-rounded care. Lindsey has experience working with children with autism, Down syndrome, developmental delay, fine motor delays, feeding issues, and sensory processing deficits. She has experience working in the outpatient setting as well as early intervention in the home.
Lindsey has specialized pediatric training in: Therapeutic Listening, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, and Handwriting Without Tears. She has genuine compassion for the children she works with and enjoys helping provide creative, fun activities for them to work towards and achieve their goals. She provides families with pertinent information regarding each child’s goals, progress and home program in order to carry over at home.
In their spare time, Lindsey, her husband, and boys enjoy any outdoor adventure: hiking, kayaking, camping, biking, boogie boarding, etc. They have three boys that keep them busy and they enjoy watching them on the baseball field.
