Michelle began her journey in occupational therapy volunteering at a hippotherapy farm, where she developed a passion for pediatrics. She earned her Master of Occupational Therapy from Chicago State University in 2019.
Following graduation, Michelle practiced in outpatient pediatric clinics and school-based settings for several years. Since relocating to North Carolina from Washington State, she has gained further experience in early intervention and home health. Her clinical expertise includes sensory integration, self-regulation, fine and gross motor development, attention and focus, and adaptive self-care skills.
For the past five years, Michelle has evaluated and treated children with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, various genetic disorders, and developmental delays. She adopts a holistic, child-centered approach and values collaborating with families, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, BCBAs, and educators to promote independence in daily activities.
